Careers for Moms to Consider

Mothers all have the same full-time job. The salary is not paid with money, and the clients are not always the best mannered individuals, but raising children is probably a lot harder than many professional jobs. Despite this fact, Moms sometimes need to enter the workforce, whether its out of necessity or out of that Moms personal desire to have a career. Regardless of your own situation, here are some great career ideas for Moms.
Radiology Technician: This career requires an advanced degree; however, the degree is readily attainable from various online colleges, which are great for Moms with busy, unpredictable schedules. The degree usually takes a few years to earn, but includes some practical work experience that will be great for getting your foot in the door for future jobs. You can read more about the payscale, required education, and job outlook for a radiology technician here.
Paralegal: Getting your paralegal certification is not as difficult as it may seem. Becoming a paralegal is still a far cry from a J.D.--the degree required in order to take the bar in most states, but the work experience is great for those considering an eventual foray into the law school world. Working as a paralegal is not your typica secretarial, taking messages type of job. As a paralegal, you will help attorneys with real cases for real people. This kind of work can be quite rewarding. You can read more about how to become a paralegal, the usualy pay for paralegal work, and the national job outlook for paralegals here.
There are certainly more ideas or options for Moms' potential career moves, but the two above illustrate a constant that can be found in any career that is good for a Mom: (1) a limited amount of schooling required (an Associates Degree in most cases); and (2) decent pay with relatively flexible hours.

Egg Hunting In A Rainy Day

It is a tradition here in the second day of Easter that kids will hunt eggs. The egg was a symbol of the rebirth of the earth in Pagan celebrations of spring and was adopted by early Christians as a symbol of the rebirth of man at Easter. The egg symbol was likened to the tomb from which Christ arose. Traditionally the game is associated with Easter and Easter eggs (Easter egg hunt), but it has also been popular with spring time birthday parties.
Every year the First Communion is given on the second day of Easter. One of my friend's daughter took her First Communion on this day. Annabel and Kevin will have their First Communion next year.

Pic of the Week...Monkey Bar

A few meters from our house is a park, a sport park. This is one of the reasons why we bought this house. Monkey bark strengthens the muscles of the finger-, hand-, and arm- through extended hanging on to from rung to rung/monkey bars. This exercise asks much effort and makes higher demands on the stamina/endurance. My kids love hanging on this bar. Whenever we stroll down the park they immediately go to this monkey bar. A good instrument to lose energy or those unwanted fats.

Find Your Own Natural Balance

Life begins at 40.
People in their forties clearly get worse at remembering, recalling and recognising things.
Many people start to experience body changes like getting grey hair, eye-sight problems, slowing down of resistance --easily tired, etc. So, they need food supplements like vitamins, minerals or iron.
These are some body changes you can feel especially when you are above forty or when you are in the menopausal stage. One of my friends is now on her menopausal stage. She easily gets irritated. She just cries without any reasons. She needs to take pills which are prescribed by her doctor to help her depression and physical abnormality.
I have just read an article about progesterone cream for menopausal symptom relief. You can buy progesterone cream online. No more hassle in going to the drugstore. No doctor's prescription.
Perfect Companion to Pro-Gest is now GBP £13.95 instead of GBP £19.95. Isn't it great that you save  GBP £6.00 in one item. The more you order the more discounts you can enjoy.
In UK it is difficult to buy progesterone cream but it is available online.
Topical progesterone has been proven to help ease the symptoms of menopause & peri-menopause. Major studies were conducted and proven that this product is effective and safe.
Vitasunn is a good online shop where you can buy progesterone cream. Visit now!

Beautiful Places to See in the Netherlands

Located on the western edge of Europe's mainland, the Netherlands features a picturesque coast on the North Sea. In fact, a substantial portion of the Netherlands is actually below sea level. That doesn't stop tourists from checking out Netherlands' major attractions, though. The popular destination inspires many to pursue careers in travel and tourism. If that's your interest, there are many online tourism degrees you can acquire.
Here are some beautiful places to see in the Netherlands on your next trip.

Amsterdam
Nestled in the province of Noord-Holland, Amsterdam is the capital of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. With over a population of a million, the city is the bedrock of the Netherlands' economy, and home to the country's largest port. Amsterdam features many beautiful places to visit, including the Dutch National Museum, the Beguine Convent, and the Royal Palace, which was built in the 17th century. Amsterdam is also well known for their hotels, such as the Grand Hotel Amrath Amsterdam, the college hotel, and the Sofitel the Grand Amsterdam. If you are interested at working in one of these five star hotels, there are many courses in hospitality management that you can take to support your future career.

Rotterdam
The second largest city in the Netherlands, Rotterdam is one of the largest port towns in the world, with a population of almost thirty thousand. The city is also known as a major commercial center. Beautiful - and popular - places to visit include Boijmans Van Beuningen Museum, the Grote Kerk or St Laurenskerk, and the Maas Tunnel.

Pic of the Week...Snow

This picture was taken few meters from our house last week. We had a great time playing on the snow. It is nice playing on the snow when there is no wind. The temperature was -10 but I could bare it because there was no wind. But when the cold wind blows then it is very cold and time to get inside and have a cup of coffee machiatto.
The snow started to melt few days ago. Glad to see the bright sunlight again.

Every couple hopes to have a unique, memorable and enjoyable day. Most couple hires entertainers like clowns, dancers, singers, bands etc. to entertain the guests. A newly wedding idea is found to add the wedding reception more attractive...a wedding photo booth. You want your wedding day to be a memorable one then rent a photo booth. Make your guests busy, put a photo booth in the reception hall. They do not need a photographer every time they want pictures. Waiting for the photographer to take pictures is a bit uneasy especially when he is taking pictures of the bride and groom. Why not go to the photo booth and have stupid or smart poses with your friends. The most amazing thing about photo booth is that your guests can take home right away their pictures without waiting for days having them developed. 1 euro Breakfast

Two Fridays ago one of my friends invited me to have a breakfast at HEMA, one of the stores in the city. It was my first time to have breakfast outside. I always shop at Hema but I never know that they offer breakfast for 1 euro from 9-10 a.m. The breakfast was so good that I brought my daughter there yesterday morning. She likes it too. A breakfast plate with bacon and egg on a French bread, croissant and a choice of a cup to tea, coffee or orange juice for 1 euro. Isn't it enough for breakfast? For me, it is more than enough. I really like the croissant. I have never tasted croissants like that at Hema. It becomes my routine now if ever I go shopping I drop by first at Hema and enjoy the delicious croissant.

About this Blog

I make this blog for foreigners who will live in this country, THE NETHERLANDS. Foreigners who are engaged or married they have to learn a lot of things about their new home like the culture, architectures, landscape, government, dikes etc. Especially the Dutch language which is very important in their social life. It is very difficult if they cannot communicate with other people. Most people speak Dutch, only few speaks English.
For visitors and readers, this will give you an idea what this country is. This small country ranks no. 5 in the economic stability in EUROPE. Their architectures like palaces, castles, dikes, ports (air and sea) are amazing.
Their culture is very interesting.
