His New Outlook In Life

A surprise message was left on my facebook last week. I met him five years ago when I was in my country. He is a good, hardworking and smart guy. He searched me on the net and found my blogs and facebook account. I was so happy to hear that he is enjoying his new job being an account manager in one of the call centers in his place. He has now a new outlook in life...enjoy life to the fullest. He used to work more than eight hours a day to gain knowledge about the things he wanted to learn. Those days were over. He has now a good paid job. He is saving money to visit places. His plans are to see Europe and the rest of the world. I cannot wait to see him at Schiphol Airport someday. He can stay with us in my humble place or stay in one of the Amsterdam Youth hostels which is just few minutes drive from our house. Many tourist attractions are close to this hostel like boutiques, restaurants, shops, theaters and more. If he will stay in Amsterdam then he can enjoy the midnight life.
Thousands of tourists come to visit Amsterdam every year. If you plan to travel in Amsterdam then you made the right choice. Amsterdam has many things to offer.

The oldest architectures like buildings, museums, dams, windmills, stores, churches etc. are very intriguing and captivating. Discover the secret of the dam square. See the unique and amazing portraits of Rembrandt van Rijn at The Rembrandt Amsterdam museum which is located at the heart of the city.
Discover more about this interesting old city when you travel in Holland.

Are You a Blogger or Blooger?

Blogging is just like any hobby which the blogger feels relax when he sits behind his computer searching something new on the net. This hobby has rapidly spread and increased. Many bloggers write for a living and some is just for fun.

Here are some of the blog-related terms:
- Audioblog
A blog where the posts consist mainly of voice recordings sent by mobile phone, sometimes  with some short text message added for metadata purposes. (cf. podcasting)
- Blaudience
The audience, or readership, of a blog
- Bloggies
One of the most popular blog awards.
- Blog hopping
to follow links from one blog entry to another, with related side-trips to various articles, sites, discussion forums, and more.

BLOOGER
is a blogger who exhibits adolescent tendencies and lacks basic social graces or good manners. A portmanteau of "blog" and "booger."
- Boreblogging
Writing about personal matters that are barely interesting even to the writer -- preferably in a slightly bent fashion so as to make it fun to read in spite of the subject matter.
- Permanent link
The unique URL of a single post. Use this when you want to link to a post somewhere.
- Ping
The alert in the TrackBack system that notifies the original poster of a blog post when someone else writes an entry concerning the original post.
- Post
An entry written and published to a blog.

These are just few of the terms. You can find the rest of the terms at http://encyclopedia.thefreedictionary.com/blogroll

Excellent, Secure and Reliable Webhosting Services

One of the top ten webhosting companies is InMotion. Read about the reviews of this company at webhostingrating.com.

Many bloggers and website owners are looking for the best webhosting services. There are many webhosting companies but only few offers a good quality and excellent service.
You should read the inmotion review and found out what the company can offer you and help your webhosting needs.

I have read the reviews and I can say that many customers are very satisfied, impressed and happy about their services like:
-quick response to the needs of the customers,
-technical support is very attentive to the queries of the customers.
-customer service is available 24/7 which is very useful to many bloggers who work during the day and can only open their blogs in the evening. The technical knowledge of the technical support staff is very important to a webhosting company because many bloggers and website owners have no idea how to switch a free hosted to a hosted site. You do not have to worry about this because the InMotion technical support is always there to help and explain to you in the simplest way so that you can fix your problem in a minute.

I have experienced with my other blog that one day my blog could not be found. I have tried many times to find my blog on the net but I never found it. So, I switched it back to the free hosted site. I was very upset. I have paid for a year but half way my blog was lost. I could not contact the company because I forgot the name. I should have written it down---my fault anyway.

InMotion is here for you who are looking for a service that is excellent, secure and reliable.
For my next blog, I will have it hosted by Inmotion. Many have tried InMotionHosting, why not give a try.

Removed more than 20 blogs from my Blogroll

I am cleaning up my blogroll. I am starting to get rid of the dead backlinks in my blog. I have just removed more than 20 blogs from my blogroll. These blogs had no more links to my blog. It is unfair because they just removed my blog without any reason. I have to do this inorder to maintain my PR or just to check if other bloggers still have my links on their blogs. Many bloggers do exchange links from you but after a while they removed your blog without any reason. If I mistakably removed your link from my blog, please let me know as soon as possible. I will do the necessary corrections immediately.
I am not done yet. Tomorrow, I will continue visiting other blogs and see if my link is still on their blog if not then I have to remove their link.

The Holidays Were Over, I'm Glad

I'm happy to be back to my old routine.

How was your holiday season?
I was very busy since the last week of November. The festivities had already started last November. November 11, the Sint Maarten - I have to buy candies for the kids. It is like a "trick a treat" in the U.S.
December 5 is the Sinterklaas - the time of the year where kids receive lots of gifts. So, I had to go shopping and look for the gifts my kids wanted.
December 25, the first day of Christmas and December 26, the second day of Christmas - The Christmas season is the most tiresome time of the year but very joyful. We do not buy only gifts but also food. Family and friends come to visit or the other way around.
Before the year ends is the The New Year's Eve celebration where people welcome the year with lots of fireworks and food. We decided not to buy fireworks this year. I only prepared food to welcome the "YEAR OF THE RABBIT"
I am very glad that the holidays were over. I can now do my usual routine. No more shopping, I hate shopping.

About this Blog

I make this blog for foreigners who will live in this country, THE NETHERLANDS. Foreigners who are engaged or married they have to learn a lot of things about their new home like the culture, architectures, landscape, government, dikes etc. Especially the Dutch language which is very important in their social life. It is very difficult if they cannot communicate with other people. Most people speak Dutch, only few speaks English.
For visitors and readers, this will give you an idea what this country is. This small country ranks no. 5 in the economic stability in EUROPE. Their architectures like palaces, castles, dikes, ports (air and sea) are amazing.
Their culture is very interesting.
