Beautiful Places to See in the Netherlands

Located on the western edge of Europe's mainland, the Netherlands features a picturesque coast on the North Sea. In fact, a substantial portion of the Netherlands is actually below sea level. That doesn't stop tourists from checking out Netherlands' major attractions, though. The popular destination inspires many to pursue careers in travel and tourism. If that's your interest, there are many online tourism degrees you can acquire.
Here are some beautiful places to see in the Netherlands on your next trip.

Amsterdam
Nestled in the province of Noord-Holland, Amsterdam is the capital of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. With over a population of a million, the city is the bedrock of the Netherlands' economy, and home to the country's largest port. Amsterdam features many beautiful places to visit, including the Dutch National Museum, the Beguine Convent, and the Royal Palace, which was built in the 17th century. Amsterdam is also well known for their hotels, such as the Grand Hotel Amrath Amsterdam, the college hotel, and the Sofitel the Grand Amsterdam. If you are interested at working in one of these five star hotels, there are many courses in hospitality management that you can take to support your future career.

Rotterdam
The second largest city in the Netherlands, Rotterdam is one of the largest port towns in the world, with a population of almost thirty thousand. The city is also known as a major commercial center. Beautiful - and popular - places to visit include Boijmans Van Beuningen Museum, the Grote Kerk or St Laurenskerk, and the Maas Tunnel.

About this Blog

I make this blog for foreigners who will live in this country, THE NETHERLANDS. Foreigners who are engaged or married they have to learn a lot of things about their new home like the culture, architectures, landscape, government, dikes etc. Especially the Dutch language which is very important in their social life. It is very difficult if they cannot communicate with other people. Most people speak Dutch, only few speaks English.
For visitors and readers, this will give you an idea what this country is. This small country ranks no. 5 in the economic stability in EUROPE. Their architectures like palaces, castles, dikes, ports (air and sea) are amazing.
Their culture is very interesting.
